20th Anniversary Bush Dance & Danish Folk Dancers and Musicians Visit
20 October 2007, Dance from 8pm, Dinner from 6.30pm
You can join a big dance and social party with the Wongawilli Band, Wongawilli Colonial Dancers, Wongawilli Colonial Dance Club and special guest dance group and musicans from Denmark - Østjydske Folkedansere. The date is October 20 at the Albion Park Centenary Hall. The occasion is even more special as it is the formal 20th anniversary celebration for the band and dancers.
The Wongawilli Band and Dancers are known for their party spirit and still have it after 20 years!
The evening will include a selection of called and walked through bush dances from 8pm to midnight intermingled with performances from the Danish dancers and musicians.
BUSH DANCE TICKETS
Tickets for the dance are only $6 for adults, Youth $3 (12 to 16), children free. These are available from the door on the evening.
DINNER
A smorgasbord dinner is also being offered from 6.30pm for a total price of $22 for adults, $15 for Youth (12 to 16) and $5 for children. Don't forget that the band and some of the dancers will be away in New Zealand from 29 September to 14 October and that Pat will be on the trip so be quick to book in. You can send an email booking to David (desanti@bipond.com) and pay when Pat gets back on 17 October.
